Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about how Oscker works.

How does an Oscker engagement work?

Every engagement starts with a fixed-fee Operational Blueprint — a 40–50 page written diagnostic of your business. The Blueprint is delivered as a standalone product. You can implement it yourself, bring in another provider, or continue with Oscker for Tier 2 or Tier 3. The diagnostic earns the right to continue.

How is Oscker different from a business coach, consultant, or marketing agency?

Oscker goes on-site (or virtual where it fits), walks your operation, and builds a 40–50 page written diagnostic that documents how your business actually works — not how you think it does. We find the operational gaps, revenue leaks, and system failures. We hand you the manual. Then we offer to help fix it — and in some cases we build it, manage it, or service it directly. We Go In. We Find It. We Fix It.

Is Oscker a consulting firm?

Oscker is an operational advisory firm — not a traditional consulting firm. Traditional consultants arrive with a framework and apply it regardless of fit. They produce recommendations and move on. Oscker observes how your business actually operates, documents what we find, and then builds, manages, or services the solutions the diagnostic calls for. We don't just identify problems — we fix them.

How much does the Operational Blueprint cost?

Field Service & Trades: $2,500–$15,000 fixed fee. Business Operations: $5,000–$20,000 fixed fee. Quoted before engagement based on business complexity, revenue, locations, and scope. No hourly billing. No surprise add-ons.

Do you work on-site or virtually?

Both. Every engagement is conducted virtually via video call if in-person is not relevant to the need. In-person is preferred for 1–3 day analysis and executive readout of findings. Oscker serves businesses anywhere across North America. The decision is made during scoping based on what makes sense for your business.

Do I need to be local for Oscker to work with me?

No. Oscker serves businesses across North America. Virtual delivery is standard for engagements where in-person isn't required or geographically practical.

Is the discovery call really free?

Yes. 30 minutes, no obligation. Oscker uses the time to benchmark your operation and tell you honestly what we would find. No pitch. No pressure.

Is there a long-term contract?

No required minimum term on Tier 3 retainers — scope-based. Month-to-month after the initial period. The Blueprint is a one-time fixed fee with no follow-on commitment.

What is GEO and how is it different from SEO?

SEO optimizes for search engine rankings. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) optimizes for AI recommendations — getting your business cited, described, and recommended by AI assistants when buyers ask. The technical foundations overlap, but GEO requires additional infrastructure: structured entity data, answer-formatted content, schema markup, AI crawler access. A business can rank well on Google and still be invisible to AI.

How does Oscker measure AI visibility?

Across five dimensions scored out of 20 for a total of 100: Entity Recognition, Citation Signals, Content Extractability, Schema Coverage, and Competitive Gap. Based on directly observable signals — robots.txt inspection, schema validation, directory audits, and live prompt testing across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews.

What does Oscker deliver — and do I keep it?

Every engagement produces tangible assets you own outright: written diagnostic reports, implemented schema code, claimed and optimized directory profiles, FAQ content, and entity records. The Operational Blueprint is yours regardless of whether you proceed to a paid tier. Oscker does not lock you into proprietary tools — everything built is portable and stays with your business.

Does Oscker work on commission or sell products?

No. Oscker is fully vendor-agnostic. We do not take referral fees or commissions from any software provider, vendor, or service partner. When we recommend a solution we present the top 2–3 options ranked objectively. In some cases, where Oscker has direct competency to build, manage, or service a roadmap item — such as a CRM build, workflow automation, or website — Oscker may be listed as one of those options. You decide.

What trades businesses does Oscker work with?

HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general contracting, remodelling, cleaning, pest control, and landscaping. Typical engagements involve businesses in the $500K–$50M revenue range, though fit is assessed case by case.

What types of businesses does the Business Operations side serve?

Owner-operated businesses across all industries — retail, professional services, hospitality, healthcare-adjacent, e-commerce, and beyond. Typical engagements: $500K–$50M revenue. The common thread is an owner who needs to grow, step back, or fix what is broken — and wants a real diagnostic before anyone starts recommending solutions.

How long does an engagement take?

Tier 1 Operational Blueprint: 1–3 days on-site or virtual, followed by 1–4 weeks to produce and deliver the report. Tier 2 projects typically run 2–4 weeks depending on scope. Tier 3 is ongoing monthly — typical onboarding runs 4–8 weeks, after which Oscker operates on a rolling monthly basis. No fixed lock-in. Timelines are always confirmed before work begins.

What happens after the discovery call?

If we identify a fit during the discovery call, the next step is engagement in a Tier 1 Assessment. Oscker conducts a 1–3 day intensive workshop (preferred on-site) with your sales, operations, and management teams to audit workflows and identify bottlenecks. You receive a comprehensive implementation roadmap, a formal business case, and peer benchmarking — providing a clear path to scale that you can execute independently or with Oscker's Tier 2/3 services.

Does Oscker work outside Canada and the United States?

Primary focus is North America. If you are based outside North America, contact us and we will let you know if your situation is a fit.

Will I receive spam after booking?

No. You receive a confirmation and one personal follow-up — nothing more unless you opt in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Is my information safe?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and stored securely. We do not sell or share your information with any third party.
